Fr. Paul Lostritto, OFM, is a Franciscan Friar who serves as a Parochial Vicar at the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in Midtown Manhattan. He is the Executive Director of Franciscan Bread for the Poor and its ministries, the St. Frances Breadline and Franciscans Deliver, a food pantry on wheels. He also serves on the Board of Directors of The Dwelling Place, a homeless shelter for women located in Hells Kitchen in Midtown.
As a Franciscan priest, nurse, artist and public speaker, Fr. Paul possesses a wide variety of talents that he uses to serve the community. Born and educated in Connecticut, Fr. Paul has close ties to New York, where he serves the local community surrounding the St. Francis of Assisi Church. At St. Francis, he applies his interpersonal skills to his duties as a Priest, which includes celebrating the daily Mass and hearing confessions.
Prior to his ministry here in New York, Fr. Paul was assigned to St. Anthony’s Shrine in downtown Boston where he helped to establish St. Anthony’s Franciscan Food Center, a food pantry that offers food to families and individuals who are in need of assistance.
